A few have sent emails to the moderator mailbox (forum@riverviewneighborhood.org) with regard to personal information gathered during the registration process. Specifically, the e-mail address we collect.
It is the policy of RNA and the Board of Directors to not share or sell your private information such as email address, physical address, phone numbers, etc., to other groups or organizations. Since inception of the forum, RNA has taken steps to block your email address from registered members and visitors.
You may have also noticed a private messaging feature on our forum where registered users can send messages to each other. Again, we have blocked members email addresses from this feature (messaging feature can be deactivated via the User Control Panel setting). The message will contain only the username you created during registration.
Members wishing to share their email address may do so at their own discretion via the body of their post or private message.
